About Me

     My name is Tavia McMillan, and I am an illustrator of many mediums and animator from North Carolina. My love for drawing began as a child and only grew with practice and time. I draw influence from the black community, anime, video games, and anything else worth being a nerd over. My goal is to show the geeky, cool and afrocentric side of black people and to draw more attention to people of color. 

     I have a B.F.A in Media Arts and Animation and minored in Game Design. I seek to inspire many with my art and animation. I get inspiration from Jean-Michel Basquiat, Kadir Nelson, Floyd Norman, Frank Morrison, Hayao Miyazaki, and DONUTS!
